Good afternoon Mr. Machial,

Thank you for your thoughts regarding the South Okanagan KVR Trail project. I have added your letter and petition to our project file as we continue to collect data and local input. Additionally, I have forwarded your letter and petition to the Provincial Lands Office for their reference.

At this time we have not planned a public meeting to discuss the project, rather we have invited all adjacent land owners to meet one on one with our project team. We feel that by meeting with individual residents, we will gain a better sense of specific site issues or concerns relevant to the project. It should be noted that the Electoral Area C Official Community Plan (OCP) has identified the former KVR corridor as a Public Corridor and the Regional Trails Master Plan identified the former KVR corridor as a top priority for a public walkway. Both of these processes included a number of public meetings.

We continue to encourage anyone interested in this project to contact us directly so we can discuss the issues and opportunities together.
