Marianne Parsons will be presenting a slide show featuring quilts from the Fabricators’ latest project titled ‘Our Colourful Language’ at the Penticton Museum’s bag lunch lecture series on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 12 noon. Everyone is welcome and admission is by donation. The lecture takes place in the auditorium next to the Penticton Museum at 785 Main Street.
Marianne is a prominent member of the Canadian quilting community, and a founder of the Fabricators group that has been sewing up creative quilts for the past 13 years. This latest project is part of the current exhibit at the Art Gallery at 5684 Beach Avenue in Peachland until November 14th.
