The SOSS Fall Festival had 14 participating junior and senior field hockey teams. Oliver fielded both junior and senior teams in this tournament, the junior team a lovely group of brand-new field hockey players and the senior team a mix of veterans and beginners girls.

The senior girls defeated Mt. Boucherie from West Kelowna 1-0, Pen-Hi 3-0 and J.L. Crowe from Trail 2-1, and tied G.W. Graham from Chilliwack. The junior girls, all of whom are new to field hockey this year, defeated Trafalgar from Nelson, tied Trafalgar in a re-match, lost to J.L. Crowe from Trail, and lost to KLO and Dr. Knox from Kelowna.

The Oliver girls improved steadily as the games progressed, and were certainly VERY tired after two days of games. Congratulations to both SOSS teams on a successful weekend!
