Sue McKortoff appointed to International Joint Commission

logo-big copyThe Commissioners of the International Joint Commission (IJC) are pleased to appoint Mayor Sue McKortoff as a member of the International Osoyoos Lake Board of Control for a three-year term effective September 18, 2015 and ending September 18, 2018.

The International Osoyoos Lake Board of Control was established to assist the Commission on the exercise of the powers and responsibilities assigned to it. The Board is comprised of an equal number of members from the United States and Canada. Members of the Board serve at the pleasure of the Commission and are expected to be full participants in all activities of the Board, working towards resolution of issues and decision making in the best interest of both countries.
