A man accused of carrying on a sexual relationship with a teenager in Summerland will hear his fate from a judge September 30th after the court heard pre-sentence arguements yesterday in the Penticton Law Courts.
Joshua James Roberts, 38, pled guilty in March to a single count of sexual exploitation of a 17 year old girl, whose identity is protected by a publication ban, between Sept. 15, 2012, and Aug. 15, 2013.
Serving a 90-day jail term on weekends is the appropriate sentence for a Summerland man who carried on what he believed was a legal sexual relationship with a teenager, his lawyer argued Monday.
