“It’s a ride to ensure that justice prevails in regards to the trial, and we also want to raise awareness for all missing women in Canada,” said Dan Wilson, Louie’s uncle and a member of the Okanagan Indian Band.

Louie, a 26-year-old single mother, was reported missing in early January after failing to show up at Penticton Regional Airport for a flight back to Vancouver.

A search ended with the discovery of her body in the Naramata-Chute Lake area.

Grace Robotti and brother Pier Robotti charged with second-degree murder – both out on bail.
