At approx 1100 am today RCMP patrol officers were called to a report of a vehicle rolling down the embankment in behind 1656 Holden Rd after travelling off of Carmi Rd 200 metres above.
Police, Fire and Paramedics attended and found a heavily damaged vehicle in the back yard of 1656 Holden.
The 26 year old female driver and lone occupant was trapped inside the vehicle and jaws of life were used by Fire Dept to open the car door. Driver was transported to Penticton Regional Hospital and her medical status is unknown. The cause of the accident is still being actively investigated including the possibility of impaired driving.
Our picture shows where the rolling car came to rest. The rear driver side landed inside the bucket of the bobcat but caused no damage to the equipment in the yard.
