Join the candidates in our South Okanagan-West Kootenay riding for a lively evening of dialogue and debate on stage at the Frank Venables Theatre. The meeting, scheduled for Wednesday September 30th at 7:00pm, will focus on the many shared issues and concerns of our communities. From climate change and immigration to maintaining our democratic values, questions on all subjects are welcome.
On stage will be Richard Cannings of the New Democratic Party, Connie Denesiuk with the Liberal Party and Marshall Neufeld representing the Conservative Party. All three candidates are running federally for the first time, so this is an opportunity for all voters in our community to get to know these new candidates, assess their positions, listen to their opinions and decide who you would want representing your vote in Ottawa. The evening will be hosted by the South Okanagan Real Estate Board, the South Okanagan Chamber of Commerce and the Oliver Community Theatre Society.
Residents in communities throughout the South Okanagan are invited to submit questions either in advance via the theatre website at venablestheatre.ca or to bring written question to the volunteers in the lobby before the meeting.
The venue: 6100 Gala Street (at Fairview Road) in Oliver.
