A woman is grateful to have her leg back after it was stolen in Penticton.
The artificial limb was found Sunday afternoon on Lakeshore Drive and turned over to police. The RCMP were later advised by city bylaw officers that they knew who the owner is. She was found in a tent near City Hall, with the matching running shoe, and the prosthetic limb was returned to her.
She had gone for a swim on Saturday and when she got back to the beach her leg was gone.
