The Testalinden Creek wildfire, burning approximately six kilometres west of Oliver.
On the north end of the fire, the crews have made good progress on the northwest side. They continue to extinguish hot spots in this area. The northeast side continues to be a challenge. The majority of the crews continue with direct attack and establish fuel free. They will be supported by helicopter bucketing operations.
With current conditions, the fire behaviour has increased in the vicinity Tinhorm Creek and resulting in increased visible smoke.
An air tanker group was working on this fire earlier today
Night operations are continuing tonight. The crew patrol the northeast side to extinguish any hotspots that may occur outside the established guard.
The southern end of the fire is looking really good and crews continue to mop up in this area.
