RDOS Director Terry Schafer asked about yellow signs popping up in the rural area near the old KVR right away.

Acting CAO Mark Woods said that they were legal notices to adjacent property owners that the RDOS seeks to get a 9 metre wide tenure for a hike and bike trail on all land(former ROW) that have not been sold including areas with short term leases.

Director Schafer said some of the orchardists and residenst nearby were a bit concerned as to what is going on. (See earlier letter from Dave Evans) and a story about announced plans for such action published recently by ODN.
