The majority of this fire is in Washington State, but yesterday afternoon it traveled over the US/Canadian border, east of Osoyoos. This prompted and evacuation order.
The portion of the fire on the Canadian side was last estimated at 50 hectares in size, but the overnight growth is being assessed this morning.
Areas of the fire perimeter have machine guard. Fire crews and equipment worked on the fire overnight.

Residents under evacuation order have been notified. Further information will be available through the local governments.
