Kelsey-Lee Launier – Oliver
Kelsey is a 19 year old student entering her second year at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops. Originally from Oliver, Kelsey enjoys the fine arts and is studying Theatre, working towards her Bachelor of Arts. She is involved with both the improv club and the theatre department in general. She was an Oliver Ambassador in 2013-2014. Finding the programs benefits and opportunities so rewarding, she decided to take the next step by running for BC.
Tea Hartfield – Keremeos
Tea is 17 years old and lives in Olalla BC. She currently attends high school in Keremeos at Similkameen Elementary Secondary School. After graduation in 2016, she plans to attend Okanagan College for the esthetics program and the plans to work at a wellness spa. Tea works as an on call fire fighter for the Keremeos Volunteer Fire Department. She loves the training for fire fighting and also working on construction projects with her dad. Tea enjoys volunteering at community events either with the ambassadors or the fire department.
Viveka Jensen – Osoyoos
Viveka is going to attend UNBC in Prince George. Her educational goals are to complete the BC of Anthropology then complete her PhD in the same field to become a Forensic Anthologists. She then wants to travel around the world for her studies, and later become a professor once she has gained experience and completed her degrees. Viveka is a part time waitress at a family restaurant, and plans to pick up more jobs in the summer. Viveka’s future work goals consist of internship or work experience related to her area of study while going to school, after she hopes to have a steady career in her major.
Chelsea Cameron-Horner
Chelsea has proudly called Osoyoos home since she was born 23 years ago. She prides herself on being community minded after her time as an Osoyoos Princess in 2008 and more recently becoming an active member of V-Day Oliver/Osoyoos. She volunteered her time on the 2015 V-Day Campaign which resolves to end Violence against women. Chelsea’s hobbies include photography, singing, and acting where has called the stage home since Kindergarten. Chelsea’s biggest passion is social media, having uploaded her first video in 2005 on YouTube. She is inspired to attend Okanagan College with a focus on Communications and Media so she can have a career in Social Media.
