RCMP Chief Superintendent Brad Haugli is the Southeast District Commander
He has 25 years of service with the RCMP in operational policing, servicing in different parts of BC. In 2007, Mr. Haugli was commissioned while stationed in Surrey, where he worked with front line and support units as the Assistant Operations Officer, then within Investigative Services as the Senior Investigator of Property Crime and Drug Sections. In 2009, he transferred as the Officer in Charge of Penticton South Okanagan Similkameen Regional Detachment. Active in his community, Mr. Haugli has served as President, Vice-President, and Secretary/Treasurer of the British Columbia Assocation of Chiefs of Police (BCACP).

Penticton’s top cop
Insp. Brad Haugli accepted a newly created position as the RCMP’s investigative services officer for the Lower Mainland district and will be based in Surrey. Promoted to Superintendent.

After nearly 4 years as Penticton’s top cop, Haugli will be moving on to the Lower Mainland. In his 23-year career, Haugli has been posted twice to Penticton. He recalled his first day as a Mountie on Jan. 5, 1991
“I was so excited to become a Mountie and start my first day on the job that nothing else mattered,” he told a Penticton newspaper.
