Challenge Penticton is set to go for an annual race in August

Since Ironman moved out of Penticton and Challenge Penticton took over – finances have been tough with big losses in the last two years – now with new owners.

In 2013 RDOS directors were asked to pay $25 thousand with organizers getting less than half of that.

Today a new presentation to directors from Osoyoos to Princeton – many not directly impacted by the race or deriving any benefit.

The Challenge Penticton website features information on the RDOS and believe the regional government is a good group to support them.

Challenge Penticton is seeking a 3 years sponsorship arrangement but   $$$ have not been mentioned publicly yet.
