
12:34am Thursday July 16 2015 Emergency crews dispatched for a vehicle that went off the road with people trapped. Upon arrival 6 RCMP member trucks and cars where on scene assisting patients and well as BC ambulance. Everyone was out and being treated. Marine 202 was brought to the scene to check and make sure no one else left in the water.
A Jeep plunged into the Penticton River Channel overnight.
Emergency crews responded to the Channel Parkway, where the vehicle had gone into the river and its occupants were trapped inside.
Police, fire, ambulance and marine rescue units attended the scene and checked to make sure no one was in the water.
A tow truck pulled the vehicle from the water.
