MYSTERY TREAT LANDS ON LAWN
On July 12, 2015 at just before 6 a.m. a homeowner on Bertram St. in Kelowna awoke to find a gigantic ice cream cone on his front lawn. The homeowner stated he had no idea how the 4 foot tall cone managed to find its way onto his lawn and, though tempted to keep it, he called police as he was not a fan of a cone that had whipped cream on top. Police canvassed the neighbourhood to find out the “scoop” of this mystery but were unable to come up with a “lick” of evidence. The colossal cone is now in the care of the Kelowna RCMP until it can be re united with its lawful owner. Police are asking the owner not to “waffle” but to come forward as soon as is possible with the “cold hard” facts on the ownership of this “cool” exhibit.
