A head-on collision on Naramata Road Tuesday sent two people to the hospital.

The crash, involving a grey minivan and a blue Volkswagen Tiguan, occurred at 7:35 p.m. near the Robinson Avenue turnoff in Naramata.

According to witnesses, a woman driving the minivan crashed into the Volkswagen. The two people in the small car were taken away in an ambulance.

The Naramata Fire Department, RCMP and two ambulances were on scene. Accident is under investigation.
