School District No. 53 (Okanagan Similkameen) is pleased to announce the following appointments effective August 1, 2015:

Ms. Shannon Miller as Principal at Cawston Primary School
Ms. Miller is currently vice principal at Osoyoos Secondary School and has been with the district since 2008 in the roles of acting principal at Tuc-el-Nuit Elementary School, vice principal at Oliver Elementary School, and teacher at Southern Okanagan Secondary School.

Ms. Diane Haddow as Vice Principal at Oliver Elementary School
Ms. Haddow is currently employed with School District No. 67 (Okanagan Skaha) in the capacity of teacher for Grade 6 Late French Immersion and Learning Assistance at Summerland Middle School. She holds a Master of Education degree in Leadership and Administration and brings over 20 years of teaching experience to our district.

Mr. Lyle Chapman as Vice Principal at Osoyoos Secondary School
Mr. Chapman is currently employed with School District No. 83 North Okanagan-Shuswap and brings seventeen years of experience to our district. He holds a Master of Education degree in Leadership and Administration.

Mr. Chapman, Ms. Haddow and Ms. Miller bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our district and the Board of Education wishes them every success in their new roles.
