The search for a man and woman in their mid-50’s who failed to return from a day hike to Glacier Lake has entered its fourth day. Cathedral Lakes Lodge staff said the pair left at around 10 a.m. Monday for a hike and were expected to return by supper time. Staff at the lodge conducted a brief search themselves when the couple didn’t return, but they were unable to find them and called police. Keremeos RCMP got the report of the overdue hikers at 8:36 p.m.

A number of helicopters involved in the search along with many volunteer search-and-rescue organizations with members fanning out on foot and on all-terrain vehicles.
