7:26 pm – Penticton North – on road to Naramata

A drive through the picturesque Naramata Bench took a turn for the worse.

A witness said the vehicle caught fire on Naramata Road, prompting the people inside to jump out. The car then rolled off the road and into a vineyard.

Naramata Fire dispatched but determined it was inside boundaries of Penticton.
