Visual Inspection this morning:

No police presence at crime scene 1211 McKinney Rd Saturday – No sign of occupants either.
Police officers on the crime scene for two days indicating a serious situation.
Oliver RCMP are being assisted in their investigation by specialized units from the Penticton and Kelowna RCMP.

File Number: 2015-2827 Assault

On June 17th 2015, at 2:56 p.m. the Oliver RCMP received a report of a 43 year old man who had arrived at South Okanagan General Hospital suffering from serious injuries. It is suspected that the man received the injuries from a targeted assault and the public are not at risk.

The man was assessed at local hospital, then immediately transported to a specialized hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries. This investigation is still in its early stages and no other information will be released at this time.
