City manager Ron Mattiussi is the leading wage earner, pulling in $271,000 in 2014.
Deputy manager Paul Macklem is next at $195,000. John Vos (corporate business director) also earned $195,000 in 2014, followed by Jim Paterson (director business development – now retired) $171,000 and Sam Samaddar (airport manager) at $165,000.
Overall, 75 employees with the city earned a paycheque in excess of $100,000, including 44 management, 29 firefighters and two CUPE employees.
Of the 788 city employees, 40 percent earned $75,000 or more. Those include 110 management, 107 firefighters and 99 CUPE employees.
