Vino (not his original name) was somehow being towed down Rd 22 by a large truck. Had it fallen off with the owner not aware?
A group of women tailing the truck stopped it and rescued the dog – took it to a vet in Osoyoos. It was damaged but still alive.

No one has identified the owner or those that did the rescue.

Facts released today – interesting that this happened last Friday – almost a week ago.
