This year, James, Ryan and Will competed in the University of Waterloo 2015 Cayley Contest. James received a score of 83, Ryan received a score of 92 and Will received a score of 108. We would like to recognize James, while both Ryan and Will are in the top 25% of all contestants. They will each receive a medal and a certificate from the University of Waterloo. Thank you to Nathan Woollard for supporting students in preparation for this test.
Samantha won the Schulich Leader Scholarship for demonstrating excellence in the STEM fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Congratulations to all of you for these outstanding achievements.

Good morning and welcome to the annual school awards ceremony. At this time, we would like to acknowledge that we are on the traditional territory of the Okanagan First Nation. Today we would like to recognize those students who have made outstanding contributions to the school through service and citizenship as well as those who have excelled in athletics, fine arts and academics.
The first area in the school we would like to recognize is that of outstanding achievement for course work. There are three levels of recognition: Award of Merit, Award of Outstanding Achievement and Award of Distinction.
The Award of Merit will be presented to students that have shown dramatic improvement in the areas of attitude, attendance, participation and success.
