This morning Monday June 15,2015 around 3:15am Keremeos Volunteer Fire department responded to a structure fire right across the street from their hall. Crews where met with the restaurant fully involved and Engine 151&152 where attacking fire from two streets.  Kaleden VFD called in for mutual aid help and responded with Mini pump 141 and four members. Keremeos Fire Department responded to a blaze that broke out in the upper floor of the Riverbed Bistro Saturday evening around 8 o’clock.

Four units on the 2nd floor of the building were gutted. Fire investigators will look for the cause in the morning. No estimate on damage.

There were no injuries in the fire and none of the residential units were occupied at the time of the fire.
