Advertising rates:
As a general rule – poster advertising involves a graphic in poster size published four times in a two week period. The publication is operates on ROS (Run of Schedule) – giving best placement, time etc. to the customer. If the customer requests specific times and/or date – surcharges may apply. Extra rates may apply to posters longer that 850 pixels. On wideness – the blog adjusts to abut 600 pixels.
Button ads are designed so that customers can have readers connect to their website. Many use the space to give a phone number, a location address, a website name, etc. Button ads can be longer but not wider. Pricing is adjusted if the size is adjusted.
Charges: Buttons $350 for six months and $600 for the year. Deep discounts applied to customers who have been involved with Oliver Daily News for more than a year.
Mini – buttons are smaller but show up on the left hand side of the blog more frequently.
ODN offers a top banner ad visible at all times – 3 month rate $200
Banner rates subject to change – check with Publisher on cost and frequency.

Publisher has the exclusive discretion of what is published on Oliver Daily News.
1. Use only one email address for self-publication of comments, classified ads or event notices. No email is given away or sold to anyone. It may be used to contact you or to determine if it is a valid email. Your email is private and will never be used as part of a group for marketing purposes.
2. Do not post links to your website or any other website without permission. Reason – we are selling connectivity/linking to websites. Not our business practice to allow that privilege.
3. The publication by a reader of comments, classified ads or event notices is permitted but is subject to review by Publisher
4. You will be notified about Terms of Service prior to any action of Publisher
5. ODN is a business – it encourages maximum participation in its features but anything posted here that attempts to “slag” anyone can be (and will be) removed. Fair comment is fair comment. Criticism, if fair, is published – but be careful of what you believe is your right to freedom of speech. Try to argue points of discussion not personalize your comments.
6. Comments require first and last names. Free ads and free events also request that same info but allows for a first name only (seen by public)
