Saturday – one third hall – local Community Centre – about two dozen people assembled – most not from Oliver – to listen once again to an expert on radio waves, the dangers and the meters causing fires.

Fortis – says its move to replace the meters is legal, authorized and safer than older models.

Now you know ODN loves a debate but here is the catch.

If people truly want to protest – use less electricity, diminish demand, ask for a radio free meter – use solar and go independent.

I am not hear to debate the issues with anyone – that is a tired group.

Action speaks louder than words. Even the RDOS motion in Area D fell on mostly deaf ears.

March in the streets if you wish but I doubt you will get a crowd.
