A 16-year-old girl has succumbed to her injuries after being struck by a motorhome at Oliver.

Police say the girl crossed Highway 97 in front of a southbound motorhome close to Leighton Crescent shortly after 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon.

The motorhome attempted to avoid the pedestrian, but was unsuccessful.

The teen was transported to South Okanagan General Hospital

Police say no charges are anticipated.
