The Christ the King Catholic church Knights of Columbus installed their new executive last night. District Deputy Governor Tom Schmidt, in red, came from Kelowna and praised the Knights team as one of the best in the area for their work doing Christmas Hampers, for their various social justice causes in the area, and for their quiet, but continuous service to the communities of Oliver and Osoyoos. Grand Knight John Nunes thanked Tom for all of the time he has spent and for his dedication as he steps down this year. The Knights of Columbus have been in Oliver for over 50 years. If you would like to help them with their work, contact Wayne Danbrook at 250 498 2745.
