The 12th Annual Wine Capital of Canada Triathlon will be held on Saturday June 6th in Oliver. The swim is held in Tuc-el-Nuit Lake, runs parallel to the shore in 6 to 7’ of deep water at Rotary Beach.
The Sprint swim course is one loop and the Olympic course is two loops with swimmers exiting the water before heading back in for the second lap.
A scenic bike course, it is counter-clockwise. The Olympic course will be two laps of the Sprint Course.
The run is a fairly flat out and back that takes you through the quiet streets of Oliver. The Sprint course is one loop and the Olympic course is two loops.
The 12th Annual Oliver Half Iron takes place in Oliver Sunday June 7th and features a 2 km swim, 94 km bike and 21 km run.
The race features a 2-loop swim in the protected waters of Tuc-el-Nuit Lake in the heart of Oliver, a 2 loop bike course in the lower Okanagan Valley ending with a 2-loop run through quiet residential neighborhoods along the banks of the Okanagan River.
