Dad’s humour and wit will live on with all of us. You gave everyone so many beautiful memories but we will be okay dad, you made sure of that. As you always said, “It’s called the circle of life”.
Bill served on the Ok Falls Irrigation District and was elected to the post of Chairman of the School District 14 – Ok Falls, Oliver and Osoyoos.
Bill Barisoff: I have many fond memories of Bill during our School Board years together. He was a man I looked up to and had a great respect for. In many ways he was my mentor. Edna loved his sense of humor. He always had a joke or a story to share. Bill devoted many years of his life to make the schools within our district of a caliber to be proud of. I am especially pleased that my children and now my grandchildren will benefit from his devoted service.
Jim MacNaughton: What a great friend he was to me over so many years. We did things around the little Church in Okanagan Falls that many folks would never have considered, no project was too big or too small. We enjoyed time with him in Cuba and I for one will always remember his wit, his courage , and his great wisdom concerning so many different things. His devotion to Audrey and his children, to the community of Okanagan Falls, the entire School District and to his being a man action – ‘let’s not just talk about it, but lets do it!’ – will forever be in my memories.
