Central Okanagan Photographic Society awards last night deeply honoured to win the trophy for Creativity and also photo of the year! My photo will be printed and displayed at Lens and Shutter for a year.

“I took the original image east of Death Valley in a ghost town called Rhyolite in 2013. I had a vision for the shot and in 2015 I took a shot of the birds (starlings) in our back yard. Off to the digital dark room added light rays, birds, darkened and played with the coloration to create the mood I had in mind.”
