Thank you for choosing to feature this story. I grew up in OK Falls and graduated from SOSS in 2001 and was very active in the community as well as school sports. Desirae and I were neighbours growing up and have been through a lot together. I believe that Cervical Dystonia has brought us closer together (despite the physical distance) as Desirae (a friend now in Europe) has reached out and really helped me to raise awareness about the disorder. She has been great support to me as she too understands what it’s like to suffer from chronic pain.
