New access to Vertical Drop Structure 13 on Okanagan River

Just a heads up that Mike Johnson Excavating Ltd. Is installing ramps on Vertical Drop Structure 13 and will be starting on VDS 11 on behalf of the Town. These ramps allow easier access to the Hike & Bike paths on either side of the river. We will pave from the ramps to the paths once the work is completed.

The Town will also be putting out a tender for the paving of the eastside (south) portion from Fairview bridge to VDS 11 which will complete the paved routes.
