Here’s a photo of the eastside wheelchair ramp completed yesterday afternoon. They haven’t done the other side yet but it didn’t take them long to do this side. The idea was brilliantly simple: dig a hole; stack two giant cement blocks in it; add section of bridging, one end resting on the blocks, the other attached to the pre-existing bridge; presumably bolt it in place; backfill the hole; tidy up and it’s done.
Hope they get the other side done today or someone biking across might have a surprise.
