Over the weekend of June 5-8 we will be upgrading our banking system. The new system will provide us with better capabilities to deliver the high standard of financial products and service you’ve come to expect from Valley First.
This upgrade is a big change for us. Fortunately, it is a small change for you. And, we’re doing as much as we can to ensure you feel as little impact as possible. You will have received a member information pack in the mail that outlines these changes.
While we’ve carefully planned this upgrade to minimize inconvenience, you may experience some service disruption during the transition. You may also notice a few differences after the upgrade.
To help you prepare for the coming upgrade, our experts have put together the following tips.
•Have alternative forms of payment available, such as cash, cheque or credit card. ATM and debit card (point-of-sale) services will be available, but you may experience some unforeseen service disruption
•Plan ahead for major purchases – withdraw extra cash before conversion begins on June 5 or plan to use your credit card or pay by cheque
•Keep track of your transactions – ATM deposits and withdrawals and debit card purchases will be processed normally, however, your balance will be unavailable until June 8
•Take care of in-branch transactions early – if you need foreign exchange, bank draft, money orders or any other services that can only be completed in-branch be sure to come and see us before June 5
