ODHS (Oliver and District Heritage Society) President Sue Morhun assisted by Society Manager Pam Woolner holds up new shelving units purchased from the Target Store in Kelowna for a quarter of the original price.

Without a budget the ODHS spent about $1800 to replace wood shelving in the archives building and launched a funding drive. Members at the Annual General Meeting rose to the challenge to raise almost half of the money needed.

ODHS operates on a budget of about $142,000 – has two buildings to look after and employs two full time staff.
