Starting this year, Town of Oliver residents will have the option of receiving property tax notices electronically.
“We are really pleased to be able to offer this service for our residents,” said Mayor Ron Hovanes. “In this day and age with so many people preferring to do their business online, this was the logical next step for the Town of Oliver.”
To receive this year’s notice electronically, register as an online user. Sign-up for
E-billing is required before May 15, 2015. For those opting to not use the electronic service, notices will be mailed through Canada Post.
Registration as on online user will enable detailed billing information and transaction history. For those already registered, residents will have to edit their registration to receive online notices, as this is the first year that the Town has been able to offer residents the ability to receive property taxes via email.
A detailed explanation of the electronic process will be mailed out to residents.
