RDOS Directors today endorsed a Transit Future Plan that will:
1. Approve a changeable 25 year transit plan for the region that seeks to coordinate fees and routes in a regionally directed system
2. Allow transit patrons to get to and from in the region in a coordinated way
3. Establish a transit advisory committee
4. No improvements in service in the next year
Some directors questioned why the Plan does not mention certain locations like Kaleden which could be a hub for buses from Princeton and Osoyoos. It was explained that this was a plan but the operational details have yet to be worked out.
