Challenge issued by Cpl. Jas Johal to Osoyoos and Oliver detachments

Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth and a few other RCMP members did the Lyme Sucks Challenge Wednesday April 8th at the Detachment.

Because Lyme disease is the fastest growing infectious disease in Canada, and is becoming epidemic worldwide!

Because research into persistent Lyme disease and other tick-borne infections is severely underfunded!

Because there is evidence that in many cases, symptoms of Parkinson’s, ALS, MS, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, fibromyalgia, Alzheimer’s disease, bi-polar disorder, and many other neurological and autoimmune disorders may be caused by Lyme disease.
