Federal Minister speaks to locals at Chamber lunch

Minister of State Michelle Rempel for  Western Economic Diversification speaks to about 30 people at Medici’s on Tuesday.

She fielded questions about free trade, agriculture and of course inter-provincial wine sales.

Minister Rempel  provided an overview of the Government of Canada’s key priorities that are of particular interest to western Canadians. Elected as a Member of Parliament for Calgary Centre-North in 2011, Michelle Rempel was appointed Minister of State (Western Economic Diversification) in July 2013.
