Osoyoos Indian Band Chief Clarence Louie was on hand at the Rotary Club meeting Thursday at McKia’s Restaurant.

Chief Louie talked to the group a little bit about the Area 27 project, as well as the renaming of Haynes Point and McIntyre Bluff, but focussed mainly on how the Rotary Club’s credo (which asks, in part, “Is it true? Is it fair to all concerned?”) applies to the history of First Nations people in the South Okanagan.
