“Let’s raise some money for the memorial park bench to be placed at the new playground.”

About 120 people showed for a fundraiser at the Oliver Arena to raise $$ for two things – a bench to honour former Principal Barton Tumlinson and the setting up of an education fund for his two sons: Ben and Luke.

Both of the kids helped with the start of the game in a puck dropping ceremeony at centre ice. Lesley Noftle (pictured) helped with that along with Acting OES Principal Karen Sinclair.
