Education Award of $1000 presented to Janis Silverfox at Tuesday’s WOW meeting at Cherry Grove.

This is the first annual award for a woman in training who supports her family as well.

Janis is enrolled in a course in Business Administration at Okanagan College.

The Women of Oliver for Women Education Award will be presented annually with applications open again – November 15th. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and have completed one semester of a vocation or academic degree program. Mail applications to WOW, Box 353 Oliver BC.
