The Kelowna RCMP have a sketch of the suspect related to an attempted child luring incident in late February and are seeking anyone with any information that may lead to his identification.
On February 26, 2015 at about 2:30 pm, a 10-year-old Kelowna boy was approached by an unknown male while he was riding his scooter on the path in the vicinity of Gramiak Road and Mary Court. The suspect asked the boy if he wanted to talk and stated his house was just down the street. The boy ignored him and the man asked if they could meet later. The man is believed to have been seen in the area of the Springvalley Schools earlier that day. He was last seen heading eastbound on Saskatoon Road.
The suspect is described as:
•Caucasian male;
•40-50 years;
•6 ft (183 cm):
•Thin build;
•Pale complexion:
•Grey/white facial hair;
•Light brown eyes.
•Fresh wound with stitches near his right eye.
He was last seen wearing:
•A long navy blue or black jacket;
•Black jeans;
•Toque;
•Sunglasses;
•Gloves.
