B.C. Federation of Labour is calling on the BC government to increase minimum wage to $15 per hour.
The Fed says: ?How many British Columbians have been told that getting a job is their path out of poverty?
Unfortunately, the sad truth is that thousands of full-time workers toiling at $10.25 per hour.”
Not yet says Premier Christy Clark but incremental steps may follow.
The Clark government has increased this rate three times since being elected – it had stagnated for 10 years until 2011.
