Popular, debonair and recently married journalist Joe Fries (left) has been hired by the Penticton Herald.

His time with the ‘Western News’ has come to an end. He replaces the Herald’s lone reporter John Moorhouse pictured below at his new home base.

Fries returns to the Herald as he worked there in 2008 before moving on to Kelowna, Prince George and Calgary.
