Mayor Ron Hovanes & wife Tara were happy to attend the 50 + Anniversary Tea held on Sunday,Feb.8th at the Oliver Senior Center.

Rick & Mary Ricard from Penticton were pronounced King & Queen for 2015.The Ricards were married on June 24th,1950….64 years.

Fifty married couples who attended this afternoon tea were served strawberry shortcake. The Vintage Singers, Jim Caplette along with the Senior Center Songters entertained the crowd of hundred plus.

Georgena Forsythe, one of the 50+ coordinators congratulating Fred & Dorothy Tomlin of Oliver who have been married the longest number of years…..married April 17th,1941….happily married 73 years !
