Another incident of a major theft – break and enter – but this time in the full light of the day on Primrose Ln – south of Oliver.
Homeowner Sandra Radies says her partner and son left the house at about 730 am and she would normally be coming home at 8:30 after an overnight shift but that day took her car in for servicing. When she got home she noticed that a window had been jimmied, escape made out a patio door – and – about $30,000 worth of jewelry, heirlooms and stored guns from two areas of the property had been taken.
Radies believes that a two toned small blue car driven by a woman was involved along with a truck to carry away all the material. She says they took a gun storage unit up the stairs from the basement which was quite a job fully loaded.
“Also stolen actually break and enter between 7:30 am and 12:10 pm this morning. 3 laptops , miscellaneous jewelry , camera, safe with passports , about 20 rifles, shells all in a locked gun cabinet.” – FB
RCMP officers attended twice this week for fingerprints and paperwork but nothing so far to report.
